Driving time from Faro: 45 min. Carvoeiro is becoming increasingly popular with the discerning villa holidaymaker. Centred around the quaint fishing village the villas are of a high quality. There are many villas which are within easy walking distance of the sandy beach and an excellent choice of shops, bars and restaurants. To both east and west are further sandy beaches and at Benagil and Praia do Carvalho you will find sandy coves which, even at the height of summer, offer space and calm. Tennis is also available at the Carvoeiro Tennis Club and only a five minute drive away is ‘Slide ‘n’ Splash’, a superb water slide park. For trips out, Portimao is a major shopping centre and the restaurants around the fishing harbour offer the freshest fish possible. The Monchique hills, the spa town of Caldas and the historic centre of Silves are all only a short drive away.
