Originally built in the 1950s for US Ambassador Scotten, and constructed entirely of coral stone, this luxury beach front house on the west coast of Barbados has recently been fully refurbished. Two new covered terraces from the north and south wing bedrooms were built in 2001 which offer additional privacy and comfort. There is also a newly built 50ft. private pool. This property sleeps up to 16 guests, in the main house, Guest Cottage and Chattel House. |

Barbados is the most easterly of the Caribbean Islands and measures 21miles by 14 miles. The island is famed for it’s warm sunshine, white beaches and it’s friendly fun-loving people. There are opportunities to explore the island by land, going off - road in a 4x4 Land Rover, or simply by hiring a car; by air in a helicopter tour; or by sea, on one of the many types of cruise. How ever you choose to travel, you will find cultural attractions, such as the splendid architecture, art, music, theatre and fine cuisine as well as a whole host of sporting activities, including hiking, tennis, polo, scuba diving, boating and deep sea fishing. Golfers have a choice of 3 beautiful courses.

All
the properties shown here are on the exclusive West Coast of Barbados,
where the sea is usually calm and sunsets are spectacular. I book only
those which I have personally viewed and approved. The villas offer a
wide range of accommodation, from casual comfort to extravagant luxury.
All are to a high standard with excellent staff and managements. Staff
as stated on property details. Meals can be provided for you, as most
villas have their own cook or chef who will cook up to 2 meals a day as
you require. The villas are fully equipped and rental rates include utilities,
linen and staff where applicable. Sundry items, such as bath soap, toilet
paper, washing -up liquid and detergent are also included. Initial grocery
items, (usually enough for your first dinner and breakfast) can be supplied
at an additional cost. In the larger homes the villa staff will do grocery
shopping for guests’ convenience and the villa manager will collect
payment for such purchases locally. In the smaller villas guests usually
do their own shopping or they may choose to call a nearby supermarket
and order groceries to be delivered.
The
prices given are in US Dollars and represent the nightly rental of the
property for the maximum number of people, and are not priced per person.
There are no extras to pay, unless you require additional services, such
as the provision of baby equipment, grocery packs and transfers, which
are payable locally. However, please note that over the Christmas and
New Year period special rates apply. Please confirm all prices with us
at the time of booking.
