Originally built in the 1950s for US Ambassador Scotten, and constructed entirely of coral stone in the grand Palladian manner, this stunning beach front house on the west coast of Barbados has been fully refurbished, while still maintaining its old world charm.

Two new covered terraces from the north and south wing bedrooms were built in 2001 which offer additional privacy and comfort and there is a stunning new 50 ft. pool in green mosaic located near the ocean.

Set in nearly 2 acres, this stylish property nestles amongst lush tropical gardens, with many giant old trees offering shade, and is located on half a mile of pristine sandy beach. Here you can enjoy incredible swimming. A large area immediately in front of the house is roped off for safe bathing, and at the end of the beach is a beautiful reef - ideal for snorkelling. 

The property sleeps up to 16 guests, in the main house, Guest Cottage and Chattel House.
