LOUELLA WINSOR VILLAS LTD
SPAIN 2006 / 2007

BOOKING Your party leader should complete a Booking Form, with all relevant details, including any special requests. This form will be taken as your acceptance of our terms and conditions. It must be signed by the party leader on behalf of the whole party. We also require a deposit of 25% of the villa/apartment hire charge. If you make your own travel arrangements a deposit of 50% is required. If you book less than eight weeks prior to departure, full payment will be required on booking. All party members, if resident in the U.K, must either take out the travel insurance recommended by us, or ensure that they have insurance covering cancellation charges and emergency assistance, which matches or betters ours, and name it on the Booking Form. We reserve the right not to accept bookings from single sex groups or to charge a refundable deposit in addition to the non-refundable security deposit.

Your contract with Louella Winsor is made when you receive our confirmation invoice. Please check this carefully, to ensure that all details are correct. The balance must be paid at least 10 weeks before departure. The party leader will be responsible for payment for everyone named on the booking, even if some names were added after the original booking was made. If you do not pay the balance by the due date, we have the right cancel your booking. A £7 per person (over 2 years) non refundable security deposit against breakages up to the value of £100 per person will be requested on your invoice and is paid with the balance of the holiday. This payment does not cover accident costs such as cleaning or damage caused by wilful or negligent behaviour. For late bookings the deposit should be included with the booking form and the full villa payment. Any credit card payments will be subject to credit card charges of 2%.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS All flights booked through Louella Winsor are bonded under the flight companys ATOL, (Air Travel Organisers Licence), for your security. Pre-book seats, if required, must be arranged and paid for at the time of booking. Pre-booking of seats only guarantees seats together. It is not possible to reserve specific seating. It is our policy at peak times to book flights alongside your villa, unless prior arrangement has been made with Louella Winsor. On some villas and over certain dates, a booking fee may be charged.  Occasionally, due to availability, we may be unable to book your flights. 

Tickets for fights booked through us will be sent to you along with your accommodation voucher, and the relevant maps, directions, key details and local contact numbers. It is your responsibility to report promptly at the stated times for all transport arrangements and make sure that you have all the necessary travel tickets and documents.

CHANGES MADE TO YOUR HOLIDAY BY YOU Wherever possible we will help you to make alterations to your booking if these become necessary. Requests for us to make alterations to your booking after confirmation should be made in writing, signed by the party leader and accompanied by a £15 administration fee. Name changes for flights will incur further costs, as dictated by the airline. Please note that insurance companies cannot transfer cover, and will require additional premiums in respect of new names. 

Cancellation of the holiday by you is covered only by your holiday insurance.

CHANGES MADE TO YOUR HOLIDAY BY US In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Louella Winsor is occasionally forced to cancel, alter or amend a holiday booking and reserves the right to do so. If your holiday is affected by changes we will do our best to notify you as soon as it is reasonable possible, if there is time before your departure. If accommodation has to be changed we will endeavour to provide similar accommodation of an equivalent or higher standard. If the cost of the alternative is higher, you will be asked to pay the difference.  If it is lower, you will be refunded the difference.  If we are not able to provide a suitable villa, you will be entitled to cancel your villa booking, when all monies paid to us in respect of the villa rental will be refunded in full and final satisfaction of all claims against us in respect of your booking. Administration charges may apply.

BUILDING WORK & DISRUPTION TO SERVICES Louella Winsor takes great pains to ensure that the information given in villa and apartment descriptions, directions and maps is accurate and is regularly updated. However, sometimes changes outside our control may occur during the period between preparation of our details and your holiday. There is always the possibility of development in tourist areas, and we cannot accept liability for any inconvenience caused by building works or associated noise being carried out by third parties in the vicinity of the villa you have booked. Such work is not under our control, nor do we receive advance notice of when it will begin. If we do, we will notify you as soon as possible and you will be entitled to transfer to an alternative villa at the advertised price.

Louella Winsor cannot be held liable for the need to relocate you to alternative accommodation if this necessity arises due to floods, fire or earthquake. Similarly, any out of pocket expenses which may result shall not be the responsibility of Louella Winsor and you should ensure that your travel insurance contains adequate catastrophe cover.

VILLA/APARTMENTS Are normally available for occupancy from 2pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. This is to allow adequate time for cleaning and maintenance between lets. The accommodation provided is only for the use of clients shown on the booking form, and subletting, sharing or assignment is prohibited. It is the duty of the party leader to ensure that his party does not cause nuisance or annoyance to the owner, or to the occupants of adjoining property, or do anything that might invalidate any insurance policies which may be effected on the property.

In all villas/apartments linen, excluding beach towels, is provided.  The contents of the property are solely for the use of the current occupiers, on those premises and must not be removed.  All services, i.e, gas, electricity and pool maintenance are included in the price. Heating costs may be extra for winter lets. Maid service is also included, but the hours and days worked by the maid may vary from one property to another. The facilities in the property are used at your own risk. Neither the property owner nor ourselves can be held responsible for death, personal injury or illness during your stay. Guests are responsible for their own property at all times during their holiday, and should ensure that none of their belongings are left in the property on departure. We recommend that children are supervised at all times in and around the swimming pool. Guests are responsible for leaving the property, together with all furniture and effects, clean and in good order and condition. The party leader undertakes to inform us of any damage to the accommodation or it's contents caused during the holiday and is liable for replacing small items, such as cups, and to pay for any damage or missing items. You will be required to pay a returnable breakage deposit, which will be refunded after your return, less any costs incurred. As a result of recent relaxation in quarantine restrictions, we must point out that pets are not allowed in any of the properties.

COMPLAINTS We receive very few complaints about our holidays, but those we do are normally settled swiftly and amicably. If you have a problem or complaint, in the first instance you must contact the local management or owner, so that remedial action, where possible can be taken. If the local representative is not available, or is not able to resolve the matter, you should contact the U.K. office within 48 hours of the problem arising. In this 48 hours, working together with the local management, we will endeavour to correct any problems and we reserve the right to do so. Complaints should then be sent, in writing to the office within 2 weeks of your return. If you fail to follow this procedure, we cannot accept responsibility for any claim, as we have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem.
